October 18–21, 2026 | McCormick Place, Chicago | North Building, Booth N-4752

PACK EXPO International returns to McCormick Place this October, and according to PMMI, The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies, it will be the largest edition in the show's history at 1.3 million net square feet, with more than 2,600 exhibitors and technology spanning 40-plus vertical markets.

Rovema North America will be in the North Building at Booth N-4752 with the BVC 260 Flex, the BV Core 260, and the BVC 165 TwinTube. Three vertical form fill seal machines, three very different production problems, and a team ready to take on your projects.

Keep reading for information on what we're bringing and who should come find us.

BVC 260 Flex: one vertical bagger, nine bag styles

Rovema BVC 260 Flex vertical form-fill-seal machine

The BVC 260 Flex is the continuous-motion bagger for operations adding SKUs faster than they can add machines. Rovema North America offers tool-free changeovers across nine different bag styles on a single platform.

The BVC Flexible series produces pillow bags, Stabilo Seal bags, and doypack-style RoPack stand-up pouches. Reclosure options include zippers and adhesive tape, and opening features can include laser perforation.

A few things worth seeing in person:

  • Sense & Seal product detection, which protects the sealing tools when product ends up in the cross-seal area and keeps seam quality consistent
  • Premium Seal sealing technology
  • Automatic edge control using ultrasonic detection and servo-motor adjustment, preventing offset in the top seam
  • The stripping function, in which the sealing jaws guide product down into the bag and keep the sealing area clean—especially important for double-twist products
  • Space to integrate printers, labelers, and reclosure applicators without redesigning the line
  • Available stainless steel construction

Full specifications are available on the BVC 260 Flex product page.

Come see this one if:
You run pillow bags and stand-up pouches on the same floor, you are launching seasonal or limited-run SKUs, or your changeover time is quietly eating your OEE.

BV Core 260: premium bag quality, standardized VFFS build

Rovema BV Core 260 vertical form-fill-seal machine

The BV Core 260 is Rovema's newer generation of VFFS equipment, built around a smart, standardized design and a strong cost-performance profile. It is compatible with proven BV-series forming sets, which matters if you already have Rovema equipment on the floor and want to protect that tooling investment.

On the stand, look at:

  • The 12-inch HD Rovema HMI, with context-related alarm assistance, macro buttons, and task- or module-based operation
  • The splicing board, which catches film at the end of the reel and supports the splice to reduce waste during changeover
  • Different infeed rocker settings, allowing paper and film structures to form securely and sustainable and conventional materials to run on the same line
  • IO-Link sensor integration, including photo-cell and splice detection
  • Machine-indicated regreasing intervals, which your maintenance team will appreciate more than your engineers will
  • A reel carrier and film path that shift left or right from the HMI, with optional automatic tracking

Full specifications are available on the BV Core 260 product page.

Come see this one if: You are replacing aging VP-series equipment, standardizing a fleet, or building a business case where total cost of ownership has to carry the argument.

BVC 165 TwinTube: two lanes, one packaging platform

The BVC 165 TwinTube runs two forming tubes in parallel, producing two lanes of bags from a single machine. Packaging material feeds into the machine through two individual reels or one common reel that is separated into two film webs.Rovema BVC 165 TwinTube vertical bagger

It handles bag widths from 50 to 165 mm and bag lengths from 80 to 220 mm, with 320 mm available as an option. Cross-sealing force runs up to 6,000 N, with independently operated sealing stations for both lanes, and product detection operates independently on each lane. Servo-controlled longitudinal sealing keeps bag quality consistent, while the low construction height suits facilities with limited ceiling clearance.

The practical version: two lanes of output from one platform, one set of controls, one operator, and one point of accountability.

Full specifications are available on the BVC 165 Twin Tube product page.

Come see this one if: You are scaling portion packs, single-serve products, sweets, or snacks, and your current answer to “we need more output” is “buy another bagger.”

Who should put Booth N-4752 on the route

  • Snack and confectionery producers scaling portion-controlled packs, multipacks, and single-serve formats: chips, extruded snacks, popcorn, pretzels, gummies, hard candy, chocolate pieces, licorice
  • Pet food and treat manufacturers running kibble, semi-moist treats, dental chews, and freeze-dried toppers
  • Coffee, tea, and dry-powder packagers that need seal integrity on thin and multilayer films: whole bean, ground coffee, protein and drink mixes, spice blends, instant beverages
  • Dry goods and grain processors packing pasta, rice, beans and legumes, flour, sugar, oats, cereal, granola, and baking mixes
  • Nut, seed, and dried fruit packers, including trail mix and other blended multi-component products
  • Frozen and IQF operations with hygiene and washdown requirements: vegetables, fruit, seafood, dumplings, prepared meals
  • Nutraceutical and supplement producers packing powders, portioned sachets, and capsule counts
  • Non-food dry product manufacturers: detergent pods, lawn and garden, hardware and fasteners, pet litter, industrial powders
  • Contract packagers and co-packers running short changeovers across a wide SKU mix
  • Teams moving to paper or paper-composite structures, whether the push is a retailer requirement or your own sustainability commitment
  • Engineering and procurement teams scoping a full line rather than a single machine

Rovema machines can be sourced as an integrated line and factory acceptance tested together, so that conversation can start at the booth.

We will be showcasing three machines in the booth, but the Rovema portfolio is larger, including liquid, fresh, and case packing equipment. The team at N-4752 can spec any of it. Come find us whether or not the machine for your product is on the floor in Chicago.
