Removing and Replacing the Vertical Sealing Band
Use the following procedures to remove and replace the vertical sealign band.
Before starting this procedure, make sure that the bagmaker is locked-out and that the seal band unit is cool.
1. Rotate the vertical sealing assembly away from the forming set, as shown below.
2. To remove the sealing band, push up on the sealing band release lever and pull off the sealing band. (Use Caution! Do not punch fingers)
3. To install the sealing band, push up on the release lever and slide the sealing band over the upper and lower wheels.
4. Verify that the sealing band is in the center of the grooves on the upper and lower wheels.
