Establishing the Stabilo Seal Corner Sealing Units
To establish the stabilo seal, you must position the corner sealing units, and set; the sealing temperature, the sealing pressure, and the cooling pressure. Use the following procedures to establish the stabilo seal.
Positioning the Corner Sealing Units
To position the corner sealing units:
1. Loosen the position locking levers for each corner sealing unit (8 total).
2. Loosen the two position locking levers at the rear of the stabilo support assembly.
3. Position the two rear corner sealing units so that their sealing rails are flush with the back face of the
forming tube, and, so that two pieces of film can slide between the sealing rails and the sides of the
forming tube.
4. Position the two front corner sealing units so that their sealing rails are flush with the front face of the
forming tube, and, so that two pieces of film can slide between the sealing rails and the sides of the
forming tube.
5. Tighten all 10 locking levers to secure the stabilo sealing components in position.
